Our Story

Middle East Products Export also known as “MEPE” is a private company founded in Iran in 1950s by Mohammad Ali Farshchian. This family owned company has been in Farshchian family through generations; the trust, integrity and innovation among the leaders of this company built a foundation for series of achievements which today we are significantly proud to be one of the major dried fruits producers in the region while a pioneer and a leader in the dried fruits trading industry in Iran for more than seven decades.
Farshchian Foundation:
MEPE donates parts of its funds to Farshchian Foundation, which established by the founder of MEPE in 1970s. Farshchian Foundation is a humanitarian foundation set up to facilitate public-private funded initiatives to promote the welfare of people across IRAN. The services provided includes education and health in the form of hospitals, schools and other facilities.

Harvest and processing

With 4 most advanced processing facilities located in Kerman, Khuzestan, Qazvin and Tehran; MEPE has access to the most recognized relative agricultural lands of the country. These include; Kerman, Khorasan Razavi, South Khorasan, Yazd, East and West Azarbaijan, Hamedan, Hormozgan, Booshehr, Fars and Khuzestan. Where Pistachios, kernels, Raisins, and Dates are cleaned, sorted and packed as per customers required specifications and ready for shipment. Each of our processing plants is supervised under restricted quality control policies to ensure a consistent quality and service to meet customer requirements.
